Understanding the needs of the Aboriginal Community in accessing Specialist Homelessness Service

2 Rivers have been contracted by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice to engage with community and services across the New England to understand the needs of Aboriginal clients in accessing Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS), identify service gaps that Aboriginal people and communities are experiencing, and identify recommendations on the ideal model of service to support Aboriginal communities who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

Our target LGAs include Armidale, Uralla, Walcha, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Liverpool Plains, Narrabri, Moree, Gwydir, Inverell, Glen Innes, Tenterfield.
