2 Rivers Pty Ltd are a Supply Nations registered 100% Aboriginal owned, boutique community development company based in North West NSW. Our aim is to encourage economic and social independence to communities, groups, organisations and individuals.
Our services are flexible to meet the needs of our clients, and can include project planning and management, workshop facilitation, submission writing, business planning, community consultation, development and implementation, event management, administration and governance support.
We offer a boutique service to ensure that the time, attention and detail are given to each project to encourage its full success. Our extremely dedicated team believe in co-design and encourage your input at every level through an open line of communication.
2 Rivers Pty Ltd was chosen as our name, as when the business was founded, our head office was located between the culturally significant Severn and McIntyre Rivers. The rivers have long provided a reliable source of food, shelter and water for our community. They also have significant cultural, social, economic, environmental and particularly spiritual powers allowing us to connect to our past and embrace our future.

Lorrayne Fishenden
Managing Director
A proud Kamilaroi Yinnar (woman) from regional NSW, Lorrayne is an experienced facilitator and mentor who believes that professional development is a key to the economic and social advancement of Aboriginal and Regional communities in Australia. An exceptional communicator, Lorrayne is just as comfortable sitting on the river bank talking to Elders as she is presenting and negotiating with senior business leaders and Government officials. With more then 10 years community development experience and an excellent name for producing strong project outcomes Lorrayne has established a reputation as mover and shaker in the sectors she works in.
An experienced manager Lorrayne has previously held Executive level positions including CEO and Board positions for Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal organisations. Lorrayne started 2 Rivers in 2014 and is a hands on Managing Director working at every level in the company and has built a strong and skilled team allowing community greater access to services that serve both Aboriginal and rural communities. Lorrayne has a strong history of working in community to establish their needs and wants then being able to convert this into outcomes.

Ros Riggs
Contracts Manager & Submission Writer
Ros has been with the team since 2 Rivers started in 2015. Ros is an experienced submission writer who specialises in community-focused projects. Her successful grants have allowed delivery of carving workshops, weaving workshops, environmental projects and crime prevention programs. Ros has a high conversion rate for grants which has resulted in many projects being delivered throughout community.
Ros has made her role with 2 Rivers vast and varied. She is also a experienced caterer and florist. She extends her role to ensure our success through being our research assistant, clothes washer and ironer, delivery driver, you name it, she does it!
Ros is a wife, mother of 3 and a proud grandmother of 4.

Pene Riggs
Project Manager
Pene was born and raised on Kwiambal country. Pene has a strong connection to country and culture and works with community to achieve outcomes especially for rural communities and Aboriginal women. Her experience includes event management, marketing, operations, sales and project management.
Pene is very focused, organised and is very hands on in the management, growth and development of the company, our projects and clients.
Makishia Felton
Head of Operations
A mum of 2 young children, organization is Makishia’s jam! Makishia loves data entry and bossing the team around to make sure our key deliverables are met and exceeded.
Makishia is like the train conductor in our office making sure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently from the teams travel to payment of accounts and managing clients needs.
Makishia manages all financial, legal and insurance matters for the company and is also contracted out to manage administration and special projects for clients.

Loren Ryan
First Nations Arts & Culture Development Manager
Loren Ryan is a First Nations Australian and comes from the Gamilaraay people native to Northwest, New South Wales. She is renowned for combining her love of music and language, showcasing both in a creatively captivating splendor. Writing original songs and translating well known Australian songs into her “Ngamba Dhalaay” mother’s tongue.
There are endless opportunities within the arts, whether you chase those opportunities or create them for yourself, you should celebrate each intricate success while consciously steering in the direction of your next goal.
Loren is enthused to deliver mentoring to aspiring or emerging creatives looking to level up.
