Building leadership in Aboriginal Arts and Culture

'Building Leadership in Aboriginal Arts and Culture' in 2020 utilises arts and culture to build the cultural and economic capacity of Aboriginal cultural leaders in the Guyra and Tamworth Regions through delivery of cultural programs, training, skill sharing and project development that will raise the profile of Aboriginal arts and culture in regional New South Wales while achieving social outcomes encouraging a strong and resilient Aboriginal community.

The project will involve all of the Tamworth LALC staff including Bumbira Arts & Culture Program, Opportunity Hub Tamworth and Wattle Ridge and Tarriwa Kurrukun IPA’s as well as interested community members and will be a great opportunity in up-skilling our deadly young leaders.
